After the cylinder is welded, there may be concave or convex defects at the weld.

    The correction of the concave deformation of the longitudinal seam of the cylinder is shown in Figure 12-26 . During the correction, the line is heated at the longitudinal seam, the width is 8~20mm , the temperature is about 600 °C, and the screw or jack is pressed outward in the cylinder. The concave defect can be basically corrected after two linear heating.

    When the roundness of the thick-walled cylinder is not satisfactory, place the cylinder on the platform and place the short steel of the same size on the bottom, as shown in Figure 12-27 . First, the arc sample is used for inspection. If the curvature of the cylinder is excessively poor, linear heating is performed along the outer wall of the cylinder; if the curvature of the simplified body is insufficient, linear heating is performed along the inner wall of the cylinder in the axial direction. It is naturally cooled after heating and can be repeated several times until the roundness meets the requirements.
