Recently, the world’s first 1000-kilovolt, 1000-megavolt-ampere dual-column structure and single-column 500-mV high-voltage autotransformer were independently designed and independently manufactured by China West Power Group Corporation in Xidian Group Changzhou Xidian Transformer Co., Ltd. The responsible company broke the world record of the maximum capacity of 334 megavolt-amperes for a single column of UHV transformers through all routine tests and type tests, indicating that China’s UHV AC project construction has achieved new major technological innovation and equipment manufacturing autonomy. This 1000-kV, 1000-mV ANT high-voltage transformer was designed and manufactured by Xi'an Xideng Transformer Co., Ltd. and manufactured by Changzhou Xidian Transformer Co., Ltd., representing the highest level of design and manufacture of UHV transformers in the world today. .

It is understood that the test results show that the 1000 kV and 1000 MV volt transformers have reached the world's leading level in terms of insulation resistance, partial discharge, temperature rise, and noise, and are of the same capacity as the three-column UHV transformers.
