Wal-Mart intends to seek VR solutions at the forefront of VR shopping

PYMNTS said that Store No. 8 at Wal-Mart Technology Incubator recently launched a contest to seek VR solutions among developers in the United States. This activity is mainly to find “potential ideas that can change our shopping and life”, and provide project funds for the winners, as well as opportunities to cooperate with Wal-Mart or Jet.com.

Wal-Mart intends to be at the forefront of VR shopping applications. But companies that have used the technology in the top 500 retail stores in North America say no one believes VR will be useful.
