Microsoft Announces HoloLens' Unknown Price in Landing in China Next Year

Microsoft today announced at the WinHEC (Windows Hardware Engineering Industry Innovation Summit) in Shenzhen that its flagship HolloLens will land on the Chinese market in 2017, making China the third batch of open countries. HoloLens's first wholesale cloth developer version is open to the United States and Canada; the second batch of open countries are Australia, Ireland, France, Germany, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and on December 6th, Japan is sold up to launch the developer version and business version.

HoloLens was released last year and uses a combination of virtual and reality "Mixed Reality" technology. It has good mobility and can be used completely independently. No cable connection, no need to synchronize computers or smart phones. The current price of the product is 3,000 US dollars, or about 21,000 yuan. However, the exact price of the Chinese launch version next year is still unknown.

Baidu VR community (micro-signal: BDVRbbs) will be the first to track the specific sales details of HoloLens.
