NDRC has a total of 8 power transmission and transformation projects

With understanding, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the approval of eight power transmission and transformation projects on the previous day. According to the statistics of the reporter, from April to now, the Development and Reform Commission has announced the approval of 24 power transmission project construction projects with a total dynamic investment of 7.661 billion yuan.

The latest approved projects include three 500 kilovolt transformer substation expansion projects and five 500 kilovolt power transmission and transformation projects, of which substation expansion projects are located in Zixia, Yongzhou, Hunan, Lushan, Shandong, and Liaocheng, Shandong; transmission and distribution projects are located in Putian, northern Fujian, Hunan Yueyang South, Hunan Changsha Xingsha, Shandong Guangzhou-Daze and Hebei Qinhuangdao Changli. Previously approved projects were located in Henan, Anhui, Ningxia, Yunnan, Xinjiang, and Jilin, mostly in the central and western provinces.

Analysts said that investment in power grid infrastructure construction will increase, which is expected to boost the economic growth of power transmission and distribution industry. The newly approved power transmission and transformation project is expected to begin construction within three years.

From the end of this year to the beginning of next year, it will be the tender stage for equipment procurement in the early stage of the project. It will mainly benefit manufacturers engaged in the production of power transmission and distribution equipment and bring benefit income for them.
