High voltage ceramic insulator

Insulator is a special insulation control, which can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, insulators were mostly used for power poles, and gradually developed into high voltage power lines. A lot of disk-shaped insulators were hung at one end of the connecting tower. They are used to increase the creepage distance. They are usually made of glass or ceramics, called insulators.
The applicable environment of insulators is - 40 ℃~+40 ℃, and some products can be used in areas with an altitude of 4000m. The products are divided into two categories: ordinary type and anti-pollution type. The anti-pollution type can be used in medium, heavy and extremely heavy pollution areas.
The surface of porcelain parts of porcelain insulators is usually covered with porcelain glaze to improve its mechanical strength, waterproof infiltration and increase surface smoothness. Among all kinds of insulators, porcelain insulators are the most widely used. It is mainly used for insulation and support of live parts in power frequency AC voltage 10kV~1100kV outdoor power stations, substation distribution devices and electrical equipment.
