IE10 can block 99.6% of malware

Recent NSS labs have concluded from tests that Microsoft's Internet Explorer 10 browser can block 99.6% of malware.

In the study of malware screening capabilities in NSS Labs, Internet Explorer 10 came out on top of expectations. Triumph over Google Chrome and Mozilla's Firefox. IE10 has a 99.6% malware blocking rate. It is estimated that Microsoft will be excited for this result for a while. Microsoft has decided to publish in detail some of the features used in IE10 to help stop malware attacks. These features are mainly SmartScreen URL filtering and application reputation.

Another third-party report from "Secunia Vulnerability Test" also believes that Microsoft's browser is ahead of Google and Mozilla's browser. Microsoft will immediately release the IE11 browser preview on June 26 as part of the Windows 8.1 preview.
