JDREAD uses the RK3026 chip commonly used in domestic electric paper books, and the price on Taobao is about 20 yuan. The boot interface takes about one minute to wait. Of course, since the Android system is running, the boot animation can also be modified after Root. Reading the main interface, I feel that the default font is more suitable for online novels than for serious literature.

The system pre-configured four square fonts for the user to choose, users can also choose their own fonts in the system settings, but after the custom font must be restarted to take effect, this operation is a bit anti-human.

You can import books through your computer or TF card. However, I found an embarrassing problem. When reading English works, it seems that there is no suitable English font to choose from, and only one Chinese font can be selected (this is very embarrassing). Of course, you can replace Android's default English font after ROOT, but this is another toss.

The system has a built-in dictionary function, which can be selected by long press on the new words. There are several popular StarCraft Thesaurus built in. They also do not support user customization unless ROOT copies the thesaurus into the appropriate folder. (Note that the .dict file is not a common .mdx lexicon for software such as European dictionaries). This dictionary also does not support left and right page turning keys, requiring you to scroll up and down, and the user experience is very unfriendly.)
