After the transformer differential protection trips, the following checks and treatments should be made:

4. If it is due to relay or secondary circuit failure, DC two-point grounding caused by misoperation, the differential protection should be taken out of operation, after the transformer is powered, and then the secondary circuit failure and DC grounding.
