6. Refrigerant filling
To add refrigerant to the air conditioning system, the air and water inside the system must be exhausted beforehand. At the same time, the refrigerant should be filled in an appropriate amount, not too much or too little, otherwise it will cause the failure of the air conditioning system.
In order to determine whether the degree of vacuum of the air conditioning system and the pressure after the refrigerant is added, a manifold pressure gauge, a vacuum pump, or the like can be used, as shown in FIG.
The manifold pressure gauge has a multi-channel valve seat. The valve seat is fixed with a low pressure and high pressure meter. The low pressure meter is used to display the pressure on the low pressure side of the refrigeration system, and also to display the vacuum degree, also called vacuum pressure gauge, vacuum. The reading is 0~30 inches (0~760mmHg), the pressure scale is from 0~6Opsi (English pounds/inch 2 is about O~0.4lMPa, ie 4.2kg/cm2, 1 lb/in2=1psi=O.07k Cmz).
The high pressure gauge ranges from 0 to 5OOpsi (about 0~35.2kgf/cm2, 3.58MPa) and is connected to the high pressure side of the air conditioning system during operation. The two tables are mounted on the top of a table with a manual shut-off valve at each end and three access ports at the bottom. If the shut-off valve is opened, the refrigerant R-12 in the air-conditioning system can be vented to the atmosphere through the passage of the table and the intermediate passage (the frozen oil can be collected by a suitable container); the two shut-off valves must be closed to detect the high and low pressure readings. In order to infuse the R-l2 refrigerant, it must be connected with a hose. Connect the fluorine (R-12) vessel (tank) to the intermediate port, and then open a shut-off valve to allow the R-12 to enter the refrigeration system via the table from the high pressure side or from the low pressure side (Figure 29).
