This is the first and only fuse to meet UL913 safety standards. The above safety standards apply to intrinsically safe equipment and related equipment at the I/II/III level, 1 department hazardous (classified) location. The PICO 259-UL913 series includes a range of packaged hermetic enclosure fuses that are ideal for 125V equipment in the oil, gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and food/beverage industries.

Intrinsically safe (IS) certified equipment must be used to operate electronic equipment in potentially explosive areas. The new PICO 259-UL913 series fuses are ideal for testing, metering or processing electronic/electrical equipment, motor controllers, lighting, handheld communication devices, flow meters, process control and automation, sensors and other intrinsically safe equipment for use in hazardous locations. . The PICO 259-UL913 series fuses and their sealants block the amount of heat and spark so that the fuses are not exposed to harmful gases or dust from the surrounding environment. This fuse is suitable for intrinsically safe equipment with voltages up to 125Vrms (peak 190V).
