(2) The communication interface module FX2N-232IFFX2N-232IF is connected to the FX2N series PLC, which can realize full-duplex serial communication with other devices equipped with RS232C interface. For example, personal computers, printers, bar code readers, and the like. Up to 8 FX2N-232IF modules can be connected to the FX2N series. Send and receive data with the FROM/TO command. The maximum transmission distance is 15 meters, and the highest baud rate is 19200 bit/s, occupying 8 I/O points. (3) Communication expansion board FX2N-485-BDFX2N-485-BD- is used for RS-485 communication mode. It can be applied to data transfer without protocol. FX2N-485-BD uses the RS command to transfer data between a personal computer, a bar code reader, and a printer in the original protocol communication mode. The maximum transmission distance is 50 meters and the maximum baud rate is 19200bit/s. One FX2N-485-BD communication board can be installed for each FX2N series PLC. In addition to using this communication board to communicate with the computer, it can also be used to achieve parallel connection between two FX2N series PLCs.
(4) The communication expansion board FX2N-422-BDFX2N-422-BD is applied to RS-422 communication. It can be connected to the FX2N series PLC and used as a port for programming or control tools. This interface can be used to connect the PLC's external devices, data storage unit and man-machine interface to the PLC. The FX2N-422-BD can be used to connect two data storage units (DUs) or one DU series unit and one programming tool, but only one programming tool can be connected at a time. Only one FX2N-422-BD can be connected to each base unit and cannot be used with FX2N-485-BD or FX2N-232-BD.
